I highly recommend this house! It was the perfect spot for our family, who is spread out around the country, to meet up. We were able to enjoy each other's company with plenty of space to spread out. Having the trails right out the back gate was so great for us. The early risers could set out on their own while others slept in or enjoyed breakfast in the well-appointed kitchen. The location is beautiful, the home is beautiful and we all had a great time there. Thanks for the great memories we made!
There truly are no words to describe how breathtaking the view is from this house; pictures don't even do it justice! I brought my husband, our two tween kids, my tween nephew, and my parents (in their 50s), and every single one of us loved it. The home is spacious yet cozy, with thoughtful touches in every corner, from the little directional notes to the relaxing yoga room, fun game options, and incredible pool and outdoor seating areas. It’s clear the hosts put a lot of love and attention into this place. We loved being just down the street from the grocery store (super convenient with kids and grandparents in tow) and cooked in the gorgeous kitchen every day. There are also tons of great restaurants and fun spots to explore just a short drive away. This house gave us the perfect mix of rest, fun, and memory-making. I genuinely want to come back every year!
What an exquisite and eclectic home to share with my friends for a week-long getaway! We felt transported to another world where time stopped and adventure began. From the moment we arrived, we were pampered and cared for beyond our expectations. The beautiful mountains, accessible from the backyard, beckoned to be explored. Afternoon swims, in the refreshing pool, were peaceful and relaxing. Lounging on the patio made for exciting discoveries in the rock formations of Thunder Mountain, which towers over the backyard. Our treasured time at Journey to the Stars is a little piece of paradise we will never forget! Bravo JTTS for your attention to detail and extraordinary amenities and offerings.
Was an amazing home! Beautiful & had so many wonderful bedrooms & baths, Pool & hot tub and as awesome with amazing view of Thunder Mountain right there behind home!
A lovely setting for our girls’ get together! The home was beautiful .. easily accommodating all of us with its five bedrooms .. a huge well-appointed kitchen and both an indoor and outdoor dining areas and its wonderful pool! Thunder Mountain is right behind the house and accessible trails right out the back gate. You wouldn’t even need to leave this place but there is too much to see in Sedona.
Sedona Journey to the Stars is truly a wonderful and memorable place. Imagine Thunder Mountain right out the backyard. This was a girls only trip without the husbands. It could not have been better. There was nothing we needed every last detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The kitchen and bathrooms could have been in HGTV magazine. It was beautiful with two ovens, dishwasher, every spice you could ever need, a full size refrigerator. Being a larger group, we had plenty of space to spread out from the beautiful bedrooms, to the living room, to the game room with pool table, wow such a pretty table, the dining room with large table sat all of us so comfortably, the outdoor patios, so much space. Even a washer and dryer. The pool was wonderful just floating and looking at the mountains, sky and basking in the silence and peace. The host was truly wonderful. I cannot thank them enough. This was the most stress free time ever.
I stayed at Journey to the Stars with six friends and we all loved it! The views were just incredible, in the daytime and at night. Some of us went on easy hikes and some did difficult hikes, and you can start the hike right behind the house! We loved cooking, playing games, and visiting inside and outside. This house is awesome--perfect for a vacation with a big family or friend group.
Sedona Journey to the Stars is truly something special—one of the most magical and memorable places I’ve ever stayed. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to create an experience that felt both luxurious and effortless. The kitchen was a dream: absolutely stunning and incredibly well stocked. From every appliance we could need to a generous variety of dishware and spices, we were able to cook full meals without needing to buy a single seasoning. It made staying in and cooking together genuinely enjoyable. The views were unreal. Mornings sipping coffee while gazing up at the breathtaking red rock cliffs felt like something out of a dream. In the evenings, we’d unwind in the hot tub and watch javelinas wander by—it felt like a private nature show. What really set this place apart was the unbeatable trail access. From the backyard, we could hop directly onto some of Sedona’s most beautiful hikes—trails people drive across town to get to. Skipping the traffic and walking out the door into such incredible nature was a total luxury. As a larger group, we also really appreciated the spaciousness. There were ample spots to lounge both indoors and out, a large dining table that fit us all comfortably, and plenty of seating everywhere we turned. It never felt crowded—just peaceful and accommodating. Everything worked flawlessly—from the hot tub and washer/dryer to the frame TVs and sound system. We never had to troubleshoot or think twice—everything was smooth and seamless. This home is a true gem, and staying here made our trip to Sedona unforgettable. I would return in a heartbeat.
There's something unique about this property we really enjoyed. I think its the central layout where everyone has plenty of space but also it is easy to get to the main living room, kitchen, dining and bedrooms. The kitchen is the heart of the space and very easy to gather around and chat over coffee or watch someone prepare dinner. Everything has been thought out with careful attention to detail. There were so many glasses and cookware which is often forgotten in a large property. I was fascinated by the beautiful frame TVs. The pool, hot tub and views were spectacular. We had an amazing time and I can't wait to stay here again.
My wife and I stayed at Journey to the Stars with a large group. There was plenty of room for everyone and even enough room for an in home yoga session. This place has EVERYTHING that you would want in a luxury vacation rental, the hosts have thought of everything! Some of my favorites were the pool (cold plunging in Feb), jacuzzi, and the many miles of hiking trails located in your back yard through the gate. You won’t regret staying here!
